This exceptional coffee is cultivated by 400 family-owned farms nestled within the municipality of Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala’s most renowned coffee regions. Each producer manages approximately 2 acres of land, often intercropping coffee with corn and beans for family consumption. Despite their small scale, these farmers share a deep passion for coffee cultivation and preserving the unique flavor identity of their region.

The farms in Sul de Minas are small to medium in size, typically ranging from 10 to 150 hectares. Many have been farmed by the same families for generations, passing down their deep knowledge of the land. Their dedication and care result in beans that truly capture the essence of Brazilian coffee—smooth, flavorful, and naturally comforting.
